03-04-2025 First major job for my Pendisplay

Of course, I’ve already used the Pendisplay that replaced my old graphics tablet. But the retouching of the next Murmeli Strip and the colouring of the current one were not yet very complex.

Then an friend wanted to publish the story ‘the Devil of the Seva Sea’ in his fantasy zine.

All my drawings demand colour, and the ones in this comic, which was produced very quickly back then, especially so.

So it was clear to me that I would colour them before being published.

I had already edited the first page a long time ago. Back then I was testing out the brush sets for AffinityPhoto.

Colouring the two missing pages was a bit more complex than doing it for a funny strip. It has proved to be a real relief that the pen and the result can now be seen on the same screen. Almost like working on paper 🙂

The photo shows me creating shadow areas in the drawings. Unfortunately, you can’t see much of my work.

Now it’s time for the lettering. More of that soon 😉
