Following that brief detour into the mortar illustrations, the corresponding ship is now online too.
To be able to show the special armament behind the ship’s side as well, I tried out a new technique. I added a small cut-away to the drawing, revealing the mortars.
Unfortunately, Landström’s reconstruction shows the ship and the mortars separately. I therefore had to get a bit creative with the positioning and the exact proportions.
