01.24.2024 This year can only get better –

This January felt like it slipped right through my fingers. At least for the projects that are most important to me.

On my first weekend back from holiday, I had to do something about the flat at once.

The following week was correspondingly lethargic and then our car also had to go to the garage – fortunately a false alarm. As if that wasn’t enough, I also had the well-known hot (un)plug too many on the external hard drive where many of my ongoing projects are stored. No more access to the hard drive. So I installed the hard drive in an old enclosure as a test and – the hard drive worked, only the adapter was damaged. So I was able to copy the most important data to my network drive.

Then last weekend my LAN logs off. Troubleshooting on Saturday and half of Monday with no definite result. So I spent the rest of Monday making sure that there was WiFi in the office and – as far as possible – switching my devices tp it. Yesterday, after my equipment was up and running again, I ordered a new (second-hand) Internet router on suspicion – this seems to me to be the most likely defect.

The rest of the day, in frustration, I reorganised the things that had piled up in the study over time – in the hope that everything would be a bit clearer.

ut there are also rays of hope: I was able to post the Zack Magazines that I had prepared for E-Bay before my holiday once I had access to the hard drive again.

And I have finally finished the first banners to link NautialFiction with my e-bay offers.

But now i will stop complaining get my hands on and continue to find calmer waters and better organise my current projects.
