Maritime Art around Quincey Howard
At this place I will show you mainly the coloured illustrations, which I created beside my work on the “Quincey Howard RN” comics. But also some selected line arts shall find their place here.
A little exercise - Portrait of Commander Johnson
This portrait of Commander Johnson was created spontaneously on holiday in January 23. My nephew liked my way of stylising the tricorn. So I got active there for a moment 😉
After the manual work, I coloured the picture digitally bit by bit and finally packed it into a nice layout.
HMS Revenger (Drawing from a Comic)
HMS Revenger, an antiquated 64-gun ship of the line. Enlargement of a panel from "The End of the Revenger".
HMS Revenger (Vector Graphic)
Illustration based on a ship from the so far unpublished comic "The End of the Revenger". A rather old-fashioned two-decker with 64 guns
