06.23.2022 It is time for another sign of life –

My work on NauticalFiction is unfortunately running only in the background – and this will probably continue for a while.

Among other things, I went through old work for the transfer to Affinity. Doing this, I came I found some unfinished attempts to create illustrations of ships in vector format.

At least for one of the illustrations, I will now take my time to complete it in Affinity Designer. It’s a good way to familiarise myself with the possibilities, but also the challenges of this programme. Especially in handling object hierarchies, which work a bit differently than in my old Illustrator 😉

As a preview you can see above an anchor as a detail that I have worked out in a separate file.

Let’s see how long it takes me to complete the 2-decker – there is also a larger batch of Zack volume 1973 waiting to be posted on E-Bay.
